Local Ukrainian variety. Included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region in 1974.
Medium-sized tree, bushy type. Crown is flat-round and drooping.
Fruits are large, 4.0-4.5 g, flat-round in shape. Skin is dark burgundy, almost black. Pedicel is long and firmly attached to the fruit. Flesh is burgundy and juicy. Flavor is sweet and good. Pit is small and easily separates from the flesh. Fruits are of universal use.
Medium-early maturing variety. High yield. Self-sterile. Low fruiting capacity. Winter hardiness is relatively high. Susceptible to coccomyces.
Advantages of the variety: relatively high winter hardiness.
Disadvantages: susceptibility to coccomyces and self-sterility.
