This variety was obtained by crossing varieties (late mutant 'Shirpotrebiy' black x 'Lyubskaya'). Originator — All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection. Authors: A.F. Kolesnikova, M.V. Mikhayeva, T.A. Trofimova. Introduced into the State Register since 1996 for the Central region.
Tree height 2-2.5 m with an inverted pyramidal, compact, slightly raised crown of medium density. Branches medium, straight, brown with a gray coating. Bark on the trunk and main branches brown. Bud 4.0 mm, conical in shape, tightly attached to the branch. Leaf inversely egg-shaped, green. Apex obtuse and pointed, base acute. Toothed edge double-tipped. Leaf surface matte, flat. Stipules 2-4, located at the base of the leaf and petiole. Petiole 16 mm long, 1.8 mm thick, with anthocyanic coloring at the top. Number of flowers per inflorescence 3. Corolla diameter 17.6 mm, open. Petals white, freely arranged. Stigma position relative to stamens is lower. Stigma length 5.2 mm, stamen length 5.6 mm. Calyx shape bell-shaped, strong toothed. Fruit set mixed.
Fruits weighing 3.5 g, shape broadly round, height 16.9 mm, width 18.9 mm, thickness 16.9 mm. Fruit depression medium, apex slightly sunken. Fruits nearly black. Flesh dark red, medium density, juice dark red. Pedicel length 36.2 mm. Stone round, mass 0.28 g, constitutes 8% of fruit mass, yellow. Apex and base rounded. Stone detaches easily from flesh. Taste rating of fresh fruits 3.8-4.0 points. Fruit detachment from pedicel medium. Fruits contain soluble solids — 18.4%, sugars — 12.4%, acids — 1.64%.
Flowering at medium time (May 15-18). Fruit ripening medium (July 8-15). Enters fruiting at 4 years. Self-fertile. Yield medium 77.9 centners/ha, maximum — 96.6 centners/ha. Good winter hardiness of wood and buds. Drought-resistant. Susceptible to coccomycosis and moniliosis.
