Delta

The lentil variety «DELTA» is a mid-early type characterized by a vegetative period of 79 to 106 days and an average plant height of 42–64 cm. The seeds have a yellow-green color, no pattern, are convex and of medium size; the mass of 1000 seeds is 43–64 g. Seedlings are marked with an anthocyanin coloration, leaves are elongated-oval, and small white flowers are gathered into inflorescences of two to three pieces.

The key advantage of the variety is high yield: the average under test conditions is 27.4 c/ha, which is 2.9 c/ha above the standard «Nadezhda», and the maximum achieved value is 36 c/ha. Protein content up to 27% makes the product a valuable source of nutrients and ensures excellent culinary evaluation.

«DELTA» is distinguished by resistance to lodging, pod shattering, and drought at the level of the standard, and also does not show signs of disease and pest damage during field trials. These characteristics make the variety a reliable choice for a wide range of agricultural conditions.
