Celery Golden

Reliable Celery for Consistent Harvests

The «Zolotoy» (Golden) variety from NPF «Rossiyskie Semena» is a classic mid-season stalk celery that has earned a reputation for reliability among home gardeners. With a vegetation period of 80–100 days, this variety represents the perfect balance between early productivity and late-season harvest capacity.

Key Features and Strengths

• Plant Type: Stalk celery. It develops a well-defined rosette of leaves featuring crisp, succulent stalks.
• Maturation Timeline: The 80–100 day window is ideal for planning harvests for both fresh summer consumption and early autumn supplies.
• Adaptability: The primary strength of «Zolotoy» is its predictable growth cycle. Unlike many foreign-bred hybrids that require strictly controlled microclimates, this variety is well-adapted to the natural fluctuations of local weather.

Who is this variety for?

«Zolotoy» is an optimal choice for small-scale farms and residential garden beds. It is designed for those who prioritize a quality yield without the need for complex, high-tech agricultural schemes. It is forgiving of minor errors in maintenance, making it a great entry point for those new to celery cultivation.

For the best results, remember that stalk celery is water-sensitive. To ensure the stalks remain tender and succulent rather than stringy or fibrous, maintain a consistent irrigation schedule during the peak growth phase. If you are looking for a tried-and-tested, uncomplicated variety with a clear developmental cycle, «Zolotoy» provides the performance you need.
