Celery Samurai

The 'Samurai' celery variety is a mid-early, high-yielding stalk and leaf celery variety, distinguished by its cold hardiness and a vegetation period from germination to technical maturity of about 72-90 days. This variety features a vertical leaf rosette, 25 to 65 cm high, with numerous side shoots, which promotes abundant green mass growth after periodic cuts. The mass of one adult plant can reach up to 650 grams, while the yield of greens is 3.8-4.0 kg per square meter.

The leaves of the 'Samurai' variety have a medium size, dark green color, and a glossy surface; they are fleshy, tender, and juicy with a pleasant strong aroma. Due to its taste qualities and aroma, celery is widely used fresh, as well as dried as a seasoning for salads, soups, and in canning. Additionally, this variety is excellent for freezing, which allows preserving its beneficial properties and aroma for a long time.
