Celery Aromatic

Professional profile of the 'Aromatna' celery

Developed by the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, this stalk celery variety is designed for farmers focused on high-quality produce. With a growing cycle of 80–100 days, it provides an efficient solution for those needing to manage harvest schedules and market supply chains effectively.

Practical application and agronomic management

• Market positioning: Due to its intense aromatic profile and tender stalk structure, this variety is highly sought after by the HoReCa sector (restaurants, catering). It is a top choice for fresh market producers where culinary quality and visual appeal are paramount.
• Crop management: To achieve professional results, 'Aromatna' requires consistent irrigation and moisture management. Hilling is a recommended operation: it naturally blanches the stalks, reduces bitterness, and improves texture, making the product more appealing to consumers.
• Production efficiency: Its reliable 80–100 day maturity makes it a versatile tool for farmers. Whether used in direct open-field production or under protective covers, it helps maximize output during the high-demand green-vegetable season.

The variety shows excellent response to intensive cultivation practices. It is a staple for agricultural enterprises seeking a consistent and high-flavor vegetable that meets the strict quality standards of modern retail and processing markets in Ukraine.
