The vegetation period ranges from 114 to 120 days, allowing for a uniform and high-quality harvest under various climatic conditions. The plant is characterized by low demands on agronomy, high plasticity, and resistance to adverse factors such as drought, cercospora, alternaria, and black rot. The seeding rate varies from 1.0 to 1.4 million seeds per hectare, enabling efficient use of area and high yields up to 7-8 kg per square meter. Novara carrots have cylindrical, columnar-shaped roots without branches or significant tapering. They are smooth, uniform, and have a bright orange color indicating high content of carotene, sugars, and dry matter. The average fruit weight is 150-200 grams. Due to its excellent taste — juiciness and sweetness — this carrot is suitable for fresh market sales, culinary use, and processing. The fruits withstand transportation and long-term storage without losing quality or showing signs of rot.
