Carrot Romance F1 — a late-maturing hybrid of the Nantes type, developed by the Dutch breeding company Nunhems Zaden. This variety features uniform yields with straight, cylindrical roots 20–22 cm long and weighing 150–200 g. The roots have an intense orange flesh and core, with a very small core, which improves flavor. Carrot Romance F1 has tightly attached tops and resistance to cracking, making it suitable for mechanical harvesting. The hybrid is highly productive — with proper care, yields can reach 4–7 kg per square meter. It is resistant to adverse growing conditions and suitable for all regions of Ukraine, showing adaptability to various soil types. Carrots grow well even at high planting densities, positively respond to moderate watering, fertilization, and pest control. Additionally, the variety is resistant to diseases such as Alternaria and cercospora, contributing to plant health and crop quality. The maturation period of Carrot Romance F1 is 110–125 days, allowing harvest to begin 115–125 days after emergence. This hybrid is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, being an excellent source of vitamins and carotene. Due to its high marketability and long storage capability, Carrot Romance F1 is in demand in fresh markets, culinary use, and processing industries.
