KUPETS

The 'Kupets' carrot is a medium-maturing variety developed by Russian scientists and belongs to the Chantenay type. This variety is characterized by high yield and marketability, ranging from 78 to 88%. The root crops are large, blunt-tipped, measuring 16 to 19 cm in length and weighing between 152 and 201 grams, with a conical shape and weak taper. The plant leaves are green and moderately dissected, which promotes good development and crop stability.

The carrot flesh is juicy, crisp, and has an excellent sweet taste. Dry matter content reaches 10.8%, total sugar is 7.2%, and carotene content is up to 15.0 mg per 100 g of raw product, making this variety particularly nutritious and beneficial. The variety is resistant to bolting and root cracking, ensuring yield preservation and quality in various climatic zones.

The period from germination to harvesting for bunches is 50-60 days, and for long-term storage, 100-105 days. Thanks to these characteristics, 'Kupets' carrot is ideal for both early bunch production and long-term storage. It is widely used in home cooking, allowing you to enjoy fresh and nutritious root crops for an extended period.
