The roots are conical, 13 to 16 cm long, with a smooth surface and rich orange flesh and skin color. The flesh is tender and juicy, and the core is of medium size. This variety is characterized by high yield and fruit quality, making it suitable for fresh consumption, long-term storage, and processing in the canning industry. Chantenay BB is well-suited for various applications: canning, freezing, slicing, and use as baby carrots in dense plantings. Thanks to its high resistance to bolting, the variety maintains the quality and shape of the roots throughout the growing period.
