Description Krustyashka
Carrot variety Krustyashka is a mid-season variety of the Nantes type, with a growing period from 100 to 120 days. The root crops of this variety are large, conical in shape, reaching a length of up to 20 cm and a diameter of about 5 cm, with their mass varying from 120 to 200 grams. Bright orange color with a small core, juicy and tender structure make the carrot especially appealing to consumers.

This variety is distinguished by a high content of carotene and sugars, which gives the root crops a sweet taste and increased nutritional value. Thanks to these qualities, Krustyashka carrot is recommended not only for consumption fresh but also for making medicinal juice, as well as for processing and long-term storage. Excellent shelf life and preservation allow maintaining freshness and useful properties of the product for a long time.

For successful cultivation of Krustyashka carrot, it is recommended to choose illuminated areas with loose fertile loamy or light loam soil with a deep arable layer. The best predecessors for planting are cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and early potatoes. Sowing is carried out in April-May or October-November with a row spacing of 15-20 cm, which provides optimal conditions for the growth and development of root crops.
