Field Performance of «Nayuva» Carrot: Practical Insights

«Nayuva» carrot by «Svityaz» is a mid-early variety tailored for growers who prioritize rapid turnover and market demand. Maturing in 90–100 days, this variety is engineered to fit into tight production schedules.

Primary Field Applications

• Early Production under Plastic: The variety shows reliable growth during early spring, making it a great candidate for tunnels or plastic row covers to get a head start on the season.
• Bunching Market: With a weight of 80–100 grams and a consistent cylindrical shape, «Nayuva» is a top performer for the fresh market. Its uniform 10–15 cm length ensures that the final bunch presentation is high-quality and appealing.
• Processing Efficiency: The compact size and structural integrity of the roots make them highly suitable for washing and packing lines. Uniformity in size reduces waste during mechanical handling, allowing for efficient processing for juice or retail packaging.

Incorporating «Nayuva» into your cropping plan allows for higher planting densities compared to larger-rooted varieties, helping to maximize total yield per hectare. This is a practical choice for farms looking to balance field reliability with consumer-preferred physical traits.
