Eggplant Ping-Pong F1 is a mid-season hybrid with a maturity period of 110-115 days, designed for cultivation primarily in film greenhouses, as well as in open ground. The plant features a compact bush 60-70 cm high with intertwined branches, giving it a decorative appearance due to the large number of flowers and fruits. For crop formation, it is recommended to sow for seedlings at the end of February with pricking out at the cotyledon stage and transplanting into the ground in early June according to a 40x50 cm scheme, with mandatory shaping by removing side shoots and leaves up to the first fork.
Ping-Pong eggplant fruits have an oval or spherical shape, 5-6 cm long and 4-6 cm in diameter, weighing from 50 to 90 grams. Their color is white with a matte surface, and the flesh has a medium density with a light greenish-white hue, possessing a piquant taste without bitterness. The hybrid is distinguished by uniform fruits, good storability, and transportability, which makes them convenient for storage and transport. Yield per plant reaches 0.9-1.2 kg.
In addition to high agronomic characteristics, Ping-Pong F1 eggplant is a low-calorie product with a caloric content of about 24 kcal per 100 grams. It is rich in vitamins B, C, and A, as well as minerals, including iron, calcium, magnesium, silicon, manganese, copper, potassium, and zinc. High fiber content promotes improved digestion, and the presence of useful substances helps prevent cholesterol formation, making this variety not only tasty but also healthy.
