The Bodrinka variety is distinguished by its high taste qualities, which are evaluated as good and excellent. The dry matter content in the roots ranges from 10.0 to 12.0%, while the total sugar level is from 6.0 to 7.0%, giving the carrot a sweet and rich taste. Thanks to these characteristics, the carrot is suitable for both fresh consumption and winter storage. The yield of the variety is high — commercial yield ranges from 230 to 350 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators reaching 614 centners per hectare under favorable conditions. The output of commercial product reaches 76-85%. The Bodrinka carrot is well adapted to various soil conditions, including heavy soils, and is distinguished by its storage stability. Its bright color and sweet aroma make this variety attractive for use in cooking and for the production of carrot juice. The ripening period is about 70-75 days after seedling emergence, which allows obtaining a high-quality crop in optimal timeframes.
