Pink Flamingo – a mid-early tomato variety that quickly attracts attention with its bright coloration and large fruits. The plant reaches a height of 1.2 to 1.5 meters, has a powerful bush with dense fruit set, where usually 4–7 fruits form. The fruits resemble plums: they have a characteristic nose, thick walls, and a rich pink color with golden veins.
The crop quality is particularly high: the first fruits weigh up to 300 g., while the subsequent ones – about 150–280 g. Inside, the flesh is red, juicy, contains several seed chambers, which makes it ideal both for fresh consumption and for processing into juice or canning. The taste is balanced: sweetness is combined with a slight acidity, giving the product a bright aroma.
The variety is resistant to several common diseases – tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium wilt, and phytophthora. It tolerates overcrowded plantings and unfavorable weather conditions well, making it suitable for both open ground and greenhouses. The recommended method of cultivation is seedling: sowing in February–March, transplanting in May, and harvesting begins in July and continues until the end of August.
