Bean Messi

Messi is a medium-late, bush-type variety with upright plants of medium to high height. The leaves are dark green, large, and strongly wrinkled, while the flowers are small and white. The pods are a deep green color, 13-15 cm long, with a rounded cross-section, lacking a parchment layer and fibers, which ensures excellent flavor. The attachment height of the lower pods is about 15 cm, and the 100-pod weight reaches 600 g. The seeds are small, elliptical, white with prominent veins, and the 1000-seed weight is 230 g. The vegetation period of the variety is 58-62 days. The Messi variety is characterized by high yield and plasticity, capable of forming a large number of pods with strong stem attachment, facilitating harvesting and ensuring a high percentage of clean pods. It is resistant to high temperatures and can maintain productivity under dry and hot weather conditions. Additionally, the beans show high resistance to BCMV and CI viruses, as well as various diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation. The Messi bean is versatile in application: suitable for fresh market sales, as well as for processing and freezing. The recommended planting density is 0.30-0.33 million plants per hectare. Production of this variety takes place in the Netherlands, guaranteeing high seed quality and stable yields.
