Description Palati
Paloma Bean — an ultra-early hybrid of green bean developed by the Dutch company Nunhems Zaden. The vegetative period is 50-55 days from planting, allowing harvest at different times, including the first and second crop rotations. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of 45-55 cm, with large leaves and strong stems, densely covered with dark green pods up to 12 cm long. The pods are neat and full of medium-sized tasty seeds, suitable for consumption both fresh and as dry seeds.

The variety is adaptable to various growing conditions and well-suited to different soil types across Ukraine. Paloma Bean responds well to standard agronomic practices, moderate watering, and application of complex fertilizers. The recommended seeding rate is 110-130 thousand plants per hectare. A key advantage of this variety is its resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and bacterial spot, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.

Paloma Bean is versatile in use: suitable for fresh cooking, canning, freezing, and drying. Its high content of vitamins, proteins, and carbohydrates makes it a nutritious and beneficial product. Due to its high yield — 1.5-2 kg per square meter — and excellent taste, this variety is an excellent choice for both home gardening and commercial production.
