Description

Nagano (Nagano) green bean from the manufacturer Nunhems is an early-maturing bush variety characterized by high yield and excellent taste. The first harvest can be obtained as early as 50-55 days after germination, allowing you to enjoy fresh pods throughout the summer. Plants form a large number of long, slender, bright green pods 12-14 cm in length, which are fiber-free and retain their tender, juicy flesh even when overripe. This bean is ideal for fresh consumption, freezing, canning, and preparing various dishes, retaining its flavor and attractive appearance after thermal processing.

Nagano bean is resistant to common diseases, ensuring stable plant growth and reducing the need for chemical treatments. Bush plants reach optimal height, simplifying care and harvest. This variety is warm-loving but does not tolerate heat: seeds germinate at 8-10°C, and full development requires 18-25°C. Sowing is recommended in April, when soil temperature at 5 cm depth reaches about 10°C, taking into account regional climatic conditions.

For planting Nagano bean, row or hill planting methods are used, with row spacing of approximately 50 cm and plant spacing within rows of about 10 cm. In hill planting, spacing between hills in a row is 30-50 cm, with 5-6 seeds sown in each hill. Care includes regular soil loosening, the first at 10 cm plant height, and the second after two weeks with hilling. Irrigation begins at the appearance of the first leaves and continues regularly throughout the fruiting period, promoting abundant and high-quality yield.
