The "Chocolatnica" bean variety is a medium-late bush variety with a maturity period ranging from 85 to 100 days, depending on growing conditions. The plant reaches a height of 0.45 to 0.6 meters and is characterized by increased resistance to lodging, shattering, and moisture deficiency. The main part of the seeds has a characteristic chocolate-brown hue, while the round-elongated grains possess a delicate, oily texture and excellent taste. Thanks to these qualities, the bean is suitable for preparing soups, sauces, canning, and can also be used as a standalone dish.
This bean variety is heat-loving and requires certain care: sowing is carried out to a depth of 4-6 cm with inter-row spacing of 40-50 cm and a distance between plants in a row of about 10 cm. Weeding and soil loosening are important in care. Irrigation is recommended only after the formation of the first pods, as early irrigations can lead to plant shattering.
The "Chocolatnica" bean is a dietary product, rich in proteins, trace elements, and vitamins, making it especially beneficial for health. Thanks to its high content of valuable nutrients, it is excellently suited for inclusion in the diet of people who monitor their nutrition and health.
