Syngenta has developed the Paveron snap bean variety, a mid-season bush type with a vegetative period of about 62 days. The plants are of medium height with dark green leaves of medium size, which promote good photosynthesis and development. The pods are bright green, 11-12 cm long and 7.5-8.5 mm in diameter, have a weak curvature, lack a parchment layer and fibers, making them particularly attractive to consumers and easy to process.

The Paveron variety is characterized by high and stable yield, reaching 3.6 kg per square meter. The weight of 100 pods is about 487 grams, indicating large pod size and product quality. Thanks to its resistance to main bean diseases, such as common bean mosaic virus (BCMV), bean mottle virus (CI1) and angular leaf spot (Psp1–2), this variety ensures a reliable and healthy yield even under unfavorable conditions.
