Bean HONEY TEMPTATION

A compact superfood for an early harvest

The 'Medoviy Soblazn' bean variety, developed by the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, is designed for gardeners and farmers who require predictable, rapid results. Its primary strength lies in its growth cycle: just 65 days from sowing to the first harvest. This makes it an ideal candidate for intensive planting patterns or early-season market supply.

Agronomic Profile

• Compact structure: A bush-type habit with a height of only 35–40 cm, eliminating the need for trellises or supports.
• Visual maturity indicators: Pods develop a distinct yellow hue during the technical maturity stage, making it easy to identify the perfect time for harvesting.
• Efficiency: Due to its low stature, the plants remain upright and stable, while the uniform development of pods within the bush simplifies manual collection.

Pros and Cons

The main competitive advantage of this variety is its minimal maintenance profile. Unlike climbing beans, 'Medoviy Soblazn' saves time and labor costs by not requiring supporting structures. It is a perfect solution for those aiming to optimize garden space.

However, like most bush bean varieties, it is sensitive to overcrowding. To prevent fungal issues caused by poor air circulation, strict adherence to planting distances is required. The variety is known for a "simultaneous" harvest, which is excellent for large-batch processing or canning, but it may not be ideal for those who prefer continuous, long-term picking throughout the entire summer.

It is an optimal choice for regions with short growing seasons and for growers who prioritize speed and low-effort crop management.
