Barley Zbruch

Stability and predictability in the field

When working with the Zbruch spring barley variety, farmers prioritize reliability. This variety from the Institute of Agriculture of the Carpathian Region of the NAAS is valued primarily for its robust genetics against key pathogens. In conditions where fungicide applications require precise timing and significant investment, the resistance to helminthosporiosis and powdery mildew allows for an optimized sprayer schedule and reduced spending on crop protection products.

Operational features

Zbruch is a tool for those accustomed to intensive farming. It responds predictably to fertilizers and is resistant to lodging, which significantly simplifies the combine operator's task during harvest. Low grain loss during direct harvesting is a major advantage for the operator: the header runs smoothly, threshing is clean, and there is no unnecessary load on the threshing mechanism.

Why choose this variety:

• Minimal costs for controlling major barley leaf diseases.
• High adaptability to Ukrainian soil and climatic conditions.
• Uniform ripening, which is critical for planning logistics and drying.

If your goal is to achieve a predictable harvest with controlled maintenance costs, Zbruch addresses these needs, allowing the agronomist to focus on other field operations.
