Barley variety Voivode is a medium-maturing barley with a vegetation period of 75-80 days and plant height up to 80 cm. The ear is two-rowed, about 11 cm long, with long awns. The grain has a straw-yellow color and an elliptical shape, with a 1000-grain weight of 48-52 g. This variety is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones, where standard agronomy practices with mandatory fertilizer application are used.

Voivode is distinguished by high resistance to several diseases, including red and black rust, as well as to powdery mildew and diseases of stems and leaves. Additionally, the variety shows good resistance to stress factors such as drought and lodging, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. The potential yield is 5.5-6.0 t/ha (58.3 c/ha).

The grain quality indicators include protein content at 11.8-12.0 %, making this variety especially suitable for brewing barley.
