Soyuz

SOYUZ is a winter barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) variety intended for grain and fodder use. It is a medium-late ripening variety with a vegetation period of 240 to 260 days. The plants are medium height, reaching 72 to 107 cm, with a 1000 grain weight ranging from 45 to 57 g. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, which ensures crop preservation and ease of harvesting.

SOYUZ has high resistance to powdery mildew and dwarf rust, as well as moderate resistance to diseases such as net blotch, brown rust, dark brown blotch, helminthosporiosis, and loose smut. These characteristics make the variety a reliable choice for cultivation in complex phytosanitary conditions.

The variety is included in the State Register for the North Caucasian region, confirming its adaptation to the climatic conditions of this zone. SOYUZ is suitable for sowing in regions with similar agro-climatic conditions, ensuring a stable yield and high grain quality.
