Maize Modena

Grain-focused productivity: The «Modena» hybrid from «Uni Korn»

The «Modena» corn hybrid is a specialized solution from the Ukrainian seed producer «Uni Korn» (originator Parii Myroslav Fedorovych). Unlike multi-purpose hybrids that balance between silage and grain production, «Modena» is explicitly engineered to maximize grain yield per hectare. It is a targeted product for those who prioritize commercial grain quality and efficient harvesting.

Technical highlights and agronomic profile

The core strength of the «Modena» hybrid lies in its moisture-loss dynamics. During the final stages of maturation, the hybrid loses moisture effectively, which is a critical factor for reducing post-harvest drying costs. The ear structure ensures high kernel density, providing an excellent shelling percentage at harvest time.

• Intended use: Exclusively for high-yield grain production.
• Performance: Responds well to intensive mineral fertilization programs.
• Adaptability: Shows consistent performance across standard soil types common to the region.

For whom is «Modena» the right choice? This hybrid is designed for professional farming operations that utilize precise agrotechnological practices. It is not an "extensively grown" variety; rather, it performs best under optimal management. By investing in proper soil fertility and crop protection, farmers can leverage the full genetic potential of the hybrid, resulting in high-quality grain output that meets modern market standards.
