MADAR

Madar is a medium-maturing winter barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) variety with a multi-rowed ear and large kernels. It is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the North Caucasus, and is distinguished by its high adaptability to climatic conditions. The variety exhibits enhanced winter hardiness, drought resistance, and resistance to autumn and spring frosts, making it a reliable choice for various cultivation technologies.

One of the key features of the Madar variety is its high resistance to diseases such as brown rust and dark brown spot. This contributes to stable yields, which averaged about 54.5 c/ha over three years of testing, with maximum indicators reaching 109.2 c/ha. Protein content in the grain reaches 14.6%, ensuring good quality raw material for feed and food purposes.
