Barley Dementiel

Dementiel — an early-mid winter six-row barley variety, distinguished by its increased tillering capacity and high yield. The grain of this variety is characterized by high thousand-grain weight and uniform size, significantly reducing losses during cleaning. The genetically built-in resistance to lodging and spike breakage minimizes harvest losses, ensuring stable and high-quality production.

The Dementiel variety exhibits enhanced resistance to major barley diseases such as powdery mildew, ramulariosis, and barley spike diseases (BSV). This allows reducing the risk of crop loss and decreasing the need for frequent application of chemical protective agents. To prevent fungal diseases, including helminthosporiosis, it is recommended to use resistant varieties, follow crop rotation, conduct sanitary measures, and apply seed treatments and fungicides as necessary.

Dementiel is suitable for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions due to its resistance and high productivity. This barley variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a high-quality and stable yield with minimal losses.
