MAS 34B

The hybrid sweet corn MAS 34B is intended for grain production and features exceptional yield potential, which can exceed 160 ц/ha. It is a medium-height plant with dent-type kernels, having 16 to 18 rows of kernels, and kernel per row varies from 28 to 38. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 320–340 g. The hybrid has medium ear attachment height and belongs to the medium-maturing group, ensuring optimal harvest timing and high productivity.

MAS 34B exhibits high plasticity and good adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones of Ukraine. The hybrid shows rapid grain moisture release, facilitating harvest and reducing yield loss risks. The recommended plant density at harvest depends on the moisture zone and ranges from 60,000 to 85,000 plants per hectare.

The agronomic characteristics of the hybrid include high initial growth energy, drought and lodging resistance, as well as good disease resistance. MAS 34B is tolerant to diseases such as common rust, stalk and ear fusarium, and helminthosporium. The Stay Green indicator reflects the plant's ability to retain green mass during ripening, contributing to stable yield formation even under adverse conditions.
