Spring barley LG Nabuco® is a medium-maturing variety of brewing barley included in the State Register for the Central region and recommended for cultivation in the Moscow region. This variety is characterized by high yield and thousand-grain weight ranging from 42-51 grams, indicating good grain productivity. LG Nabuco® is widely used in agronomic practice as a main cereal crop for producing flour, bread, feed, and other products.
The variety exhibits moderate resistance to powdery mildew, rust, and damage by the Swedish fly, ensuring its stability under various agroclimatic conditions. However, it is susceptible to stripe rust and severely affected by helminthosporiosis in field conditions, as well as showing high susceptibility to root rot. These characteristics require careful plant protection and appropriate agronomic measures.
LG Nabuco® is characterized by good variety traits and disease resistance, making it attractive to farmers aiming for high-quality grain yields. The variety responds well to fertilizers and agronomic practices, enabling effective utilization of its potential in various soil-climatic zones of the Central region.
