Optimal agronomic parameters include sowing date, seed planting depth of 3–5 cm, and seeding rate of 4–5 million/ha. Protein content in grain is 9–10%, which is a key indicator for food and brewing industries. The variety shows moderate resistance to eyespot and moderate susceptibility to root rots. KWS Fantex is a versatile variety suitable for producing most types of malt. It has the highest FAN level among KWS varieties, making it particularly valuable for the brewing industry.
