MIP Expert is a medium-maturing, bright barley variety developed by the Myronivs'k Institute of Wheat named after V.M. Remesla of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. The variety's vegetation period lasts 69-80 days, and the plant height is average. The ear is cylindrical with long awns, and the grain is very large, contributing to a high yield potential of up to 70 centners per hectare. The variety is primarily intended for brewing and is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Steppe, and Forest-Steppe. Barley MIP Expert is characterized by high resistance to stress factors and diseases. Resistance indicators include stem lodging resistance level 8, drought resistance level 7, stone and powdery mildew resistance level 8, and helminthosporiosis resistance level 4. These characteristics make the variety a reliable choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality yields even under adverse conditions. To achieve maximum productivity, it is necessary to follow agronomic requirements, including the use of conditioned seeds, proper soil preparation, timely sowing at optimal dates, and correct seeding rates. Ensuring balanced mineral nutrition and applying plant protection measures are also important. A comprehensive approach to cultivation allows the full potential of the variety to be realized, providing high-quality seed material and products.
