Barley Knyazhii

A reliable choice for intensive farming

The «Knyazhyi» barley is a product of the breeding efforts of the Institute of Plant Science of the NAAS of Ukraine. This variety has firmly established itself in the spring cereal segment, focused on high returns with minimal risks. The breeder prioritized the crop's adaptability to Ukrainian climatic conditions, making «Knyazhyi» a popular choice for farms seeking predictable yield performance.

Agronomic profile

The variety belongs to the six-row barley type, ensuring high productive stem density. A short growing season of 80–85 days allows the crop to avoid peak summer droughts, which is crucial for the country's southern and central regions. With a plant height of 70–80 cm, the variety shows strong lodging resistance, simplifying the mechanical harvesting process.

Grain quality indicators

• Weight of 1,000 seeds: 40–45 g, providing good test weight.
