Shoots are thin, straight, brown, but more often light-brown with dense pubescence. Leaves are medium-sized, but more often small, elongated, with a sagging base, densely hairy. Leaf apex is broadly wedge-shaped, leaf margins are wavy with fine, single and double-toothed serrations. Petiole has strong woolly pubescence, lightly colored with anthocyanin.
Fruits are medium-sized, and under heavy yields — small, rounded-conical or more precisely rounded-bottle-shaped, without ridges, with maximum diameter in the middle of the fruit. Main color is straw-white or light-yellow, with a delicate, blurred pinkish-carmine blush on the sun-exposed side of the fruit. Pedicel is long, thin, arcuate.
Flesh is white, tender, juicy, fine-grained, aromatic, slightly acidic-sweet. Good flavor.
Harvesting occurs in early September. In the refrigerator, fruits can be stored until January.
Fruits are excellent for fresh consumption, processing into juices, and making dried fruits. One of the best varieties for making jams.
Trees begin fruiting early and, in young age, produce abundant annual yields. As trees age, yield increases, fruiting becomes periodic, and fruits become smaller.
Cold resistance is insufficient for northern regions of the Middle Strip, but moderate for the Volga region. Drought tolerance — satisfactory. Variety is weakly resistant to powdery mildew and scab.
Advantages of the variety: small trees, early fruiting, high yield, good fruit flavor.
Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient cold resistance and resistance to fungal diseases, small fruit size, periodic fruiting.
