Apple Linda

Efficient Production with Winter Hardiness

The 'Linda' apple variety is a professional choice for orchardists looking to balance labor-intensive maintenance with high-yield storage capacity. As a winter variety, it features medium tree vigor and a versatile canopy shape—either wide-pyramidal or rounded—which simplifies pruning and mechanical harvesting. With robust winter hardiness, this variety minimizes the risk of fruit bud loss in regions prone to temperature fluctuations.

Pest Management and Efficiency

One of the primary benefits for modern farm management is 'Linda's' genetic resistance to common scab. This trait significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications against powdery mildew and scab, effectively lowering operational costs and supporting a more sustainable production model. When integrated into intensive orchard systems, the tree responds well to precise fertigation, ensuring consistent development of commercial-grade fruit.

Harvest and Market Quality

• Fruit Specifications: Fruits typically weigh between 150g and 250g, featuring a distinct elongated-round-conical shape.
• Visual Appeal: A rich, dark red blush covers the skin, providing excellent aesthetic appeal for fresh produce markets.
• Internal Quality: The light-cream flesh is firm and juicy, specifically noted for its excellent storage stability throughout the winter months.

For growers focusing on late-season sales, 'Linda' offers a reliable cycle from harvest through long-term storage, meeting the demands of high-quality fresh market supply chains.
