The 'Alesya' apple variety is the result of Belarusian selection and represents a late-winter variety, created in 1972 by crossing the 'Belorusskoye Malinovoye' and 'Banannoye' varieties. Trees of this variety are dwarf, have a compact, round crown of medium density, and reach a height of about 400 cm. Thanks to their attractive shape and moderate growth, the Alesya apple tree will become an ornament for any garden.
The fruits of the Alesiya variety are characterized by a correct flat-round shape, medium or above-average size, and a weight of about 150 grams. They are juicy and aromatic, with a harmonious sweet-and-sour taste. Apples of this variety have high winter hardiness and resistance to typical apple diseases, making them undemanding and high-yielding. The ripening period falls in mid-September to early October, which allows the fruits to be used both for immediate consumption and for ripening.
One of the main advantages of the Alesya variety is the fruits' ability to be stored for a long time. Apples retain their taste and consumer qualities until mid-spring, which makes them especially valuable for long-term use. In addition, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and are excellent raw material for making juices. Thus, the Alesya apple tree combines high-quality fruits, resistance to unfavorable conditions, and ease of care.
