Actinidia "Neznamka" – one of the most tested and popular varieties, cultivated since 1998 in the Moscow branch of VNIIR. The plant belongs to medium-sized lianas with brown canes that beautifully twine at any growth stage. Leaves are oval-shaped and of medium size, with a dirty-green hue.
Fruits of this variety are characterized by a cylindrical shape and a weight of 1 to 3 grams. They have an olive-green to dark-green color, juicy pulp, and a sweet-and-sour taste with a pronounced pineapple aroma. Vitamin C content is about 1800% of the Recommended Daily Allowance, making the berries especially beneficial.
"Neznamka" differs in its early ripening period and active growth, allowing the yield from one bush to exceed 20 kilograms. The variety is resistant to diseases and pests, has good frost resistance, but requires male plants for pollination (the variety is self-sterile in some variants).
