Robinzon is a variety of Actinidia kolomikta, grown at the Far Eastern Experimental Station of VNIIR. The plant is a vine up to 2.5 m high with medium-thickness climbing shoots and medium-sized green leaves. The fruits have an elongated cylindrical shape, weighing about 3 g, with a dark olive skin of thin texture and green, tender, and aromatic pulp. The fruits have a harmonious and sweet taste, making them especially attractive to consumers.
The variety is characterized by high yield: from a five-year-old bush, up to 15 kg of berries can be collected, which is a record among kolomiktas. The fruits ripen in the third decade of August, and the plant demonstrates frost resistance and grows quickly on a support – the average annual increase in shoot length reaches 1.5–2 m.
Robinzon is suitable for growing in all climatic zones thanks to its frost resistance. It is recommended as a promising variety for testing in various regions and is valued for its rapid growth and high productivity, making it an attractive choice for both commercial production and home gardening.
