NIBERDJAEVSKAYA EARLY

Niberdjaevskaia Early is a plumcot variety belonging to early fruit-bearing types, which was bred at the Crimean Experimental and Breeding Station of the All-Russian N.I. Vavilov Institute of Plant Breeding and received status in the State Register of Breeding Achievements. The tree grows quickly, reaching an average height of up to 3 m, has an oval crown of moderate density and a wide oval shape. Due to its vigorous nature, the tree begins to bear fruit as early as the third or fourth year after planting.

The fruits of Niberdjaevskaia Early have medium size (26–29 g), oval-round shape and a noticeable ventral suture. The skin is dark purple, compacted and poorly separated from the flesh, which gives the fruit a characteristic appearance. The flesh is yellow-green, firm, with moderate sweetness and high acidity, and the pit is small and light brown. The variety is characterized by early ripening – the fruits begin to ripen in July, but the harvest is gathered over a long period (about 20–30 days), which ensures a stable release of the product.

Niberdjaevskaia Early has high canning qualities and medium-level winter hardiness. Disease resistance is high, and fruitfulness is very significant: from one tree you can collect from 40 to 50 kg of fruits per year. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is widely used both in garden enterprises and in breeding to obtain hybrids suitable for growing in many regions of the country.
