Tashchenaksky

Apricot variety Tashchenaksky is a medium-sized tree with a wide, round, and spreading crown of medium density. This variety features a spur-type branching with slow growth, ensuring easy access to fruit during harvest. The tree is resistant to cold and diseases of fruit trees, making it suitable for cultivation in regions with cold winters and dry conditions typical of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine.

The fruits of apricot Tashchenaksky are large, weighing from 47 to 60 grams, round in shape and orange in color. The flesh easily separates from the pit, has a sweet-tart flavor, and a pleasant aroma. The yield of this variety ranges from 7 to 17 tons per hectare, indicating its high productivity and versatility in use.

The variety was registered in 2005 as a result of selection by the Melitopolsk Institute of Irrigation Horticulture named after M.F. Sidorenko of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Thanks to its qualities and adaptation to regional climatic conditions, apricot Tashchenaksky is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking tasty and high-quality fruits with high resistance to adverse factors.
