Vishnya sortu Vidrodzhennia represents a high-yielding tree with a compact, round crown, reaching up to 3 meters in height. This variety is characterized by high and stable fruiting, beginning to bear fruit from the 4th-5th year, with gradual increases in yield. Fruits ripen in mid-summer, from late June to early July, and have a round shape, weighing approximately 3-4 grams. The fruit skin is dense and burgundy-red, while the flesh is a rich burgundy color with a pleasant sour-sweet taste and a small stone that separates easily. The fruit is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing into jams, compotes, and preserves. The Vidrodzhennia variety exhibits high resistance to diseases, particularly coccomycosis, as well as high cold tolerance, surviving temperatures down to -30°C. Trees require minimal care, capable of growing without additional watering or special maintenance, making them convenient for cultivation in both private and industrial scales. For successful fruiting, pollinators of other cherry varieties, such as Erdi or Zustrich, are required. It is recommended to plant trees on sunny, sheltered sites from cold north winds, with spacing of 4×2 meters between plants. The Vidrodzhennia cherry was developed by the Melitopol Experimental Station for Horticulture and registered in 2006. The variety features high fruit transportability and high content of microelements, enhancing their nutritional value. Thanks to its qualities and resilience, this variety is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking tasty, large, and nutritious fruits with minimal care requirements.
