The 'Solidarity' cherry variety is the result of selection by the Institute of Irrigated Horticulture named after M.F. Sidorenko of UAAN and was selected among seedlings from open pollination of the Zhukovskaya variety, growing amidst peach trees. The tree has medium growth vigor and rapid development, with a spreading, drooping, and moderately dense crown. The bark on the trunk and scaffold branches is flaky and gray; shoots are thick and straight, brownish-brown. Leaves are medium-sized, elliptical, dark green, with serrated edges and a short acuminate apex. Flowers are white, medium-sized, may be double or triple. The 'Solidarity' variety's fruits are large, weighing 6–7 grams, round in shape with dark red skin and light pink, tender, juicy flesh. The fruit flavor is sour-sweet, making them ideal for dessert use. The skin is of medium thickness and easily separates from the fruit; the peduncle is of medium length and easily detaches from the branch when firmly attached to the stone. The peduncle and stone are of medium size; the stone is free and round. The fruits contain 14.9% dry matter, 7.0% sugars, 0.59% acids, and 9.9 mg of ascorbic acid per 100 grams. The tasting score of fresh fruits is 4.6 points. The variety begins fruiting in the fourth year after planting and ripens between June 20–25. Yield reaches 31 kg per 10-year-old tree. 'Solidarity' is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region and shows relatively good resistance to coccomycosis. The fruits have medium transportability, allowing their use for sale and fresh consumption.
