ENJOY

The 'Enjoy' apricot variety is a mid-late high-yielding variety bred at the Nikitsky Botanical Garden. The tree is vigorous, reaching heights of 3-5 meters, with a spreading round crown of medium density and slightly raised branches. Leaves are smooth and dark green, while flowers are pink, blooming in March-April. Fruiting begins in the 3rd-4th year and can last up to 25-30 years, making this variety long-lived and stable in production. The fruits are large, weighing 40-60 grams, oval-egg-shaped with a pointed apex and a small beak. The skin is velvety, slightly pubescent, orange in color with a bright raspberry blush covering up to half the fruit's surface. The flesh is light orange, juicy, tender, and aromatic, with a stone that separates easily. The taste is rich, sweet with a slight tartness, harmonious and substantial, confirmed by a high tasting score. The stone is medium-sized, making up about 5.6% of the fruit's weight. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness and drought resistance, as well as medium resistance to diseases and pests. Yield is high — up to 35-40 kg per tree or 8-9 tons per hectare. 'Enjoy' apricot is versatile in use, excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for making compotes and drying into dried apricots (kuraga). Thanks to the good transportability of the fruits, this variety is convenient for commercial cultivation and marketing.
