Magnum is a mid-early leaf parsley variety, adapted to various soil types and growing conditions. The plants are characterized by active development and the formation of a large semi-erect leaf rosette, which contains from 30 to 40 leaves. The leaf blade is wide with large lobes, 30-35 cm in length, of an intense dark green color with an attractive gloss. The petioles are sturdy, which facilitates cutting the greens and tying them into bunches, while the vertical orientation of the plants facilitates crop harvesting. The variety is suitable for seasonal growing in open ground, as well as year-round cultivation in protected conditions. High content of dry matter in the leaves ensures good preservation of greens after processing and transportation. The period from germination to the first harvest is 55-60 days, while multiple cutting of leaves is possible until late autumn and in spring until the beginning of flowering. The recommended planting density is 4-5 kg per hectare. Magnum parsley is distinguished by increased leaf aroma and resistance to hot weather conditions. Plants reach a height of about 30 cm, have a powerful root system that easily adapts to different soils. The broad flat Italian-type foliage makes this variety attractive for use in fresh form and in cooking, providing a rich taste and aroma of greens.
