SIBIRYACHKA

The 'Sibiryachka' parsley variety is a mid-season leaf variety with a period from germination to technical maturity of 65-75 days. The leaf rosette is semi-vertical, reaching a height of up to 40 cm. The leaves are narrow-triangular in shape, green in color, medium or large in size, with a pleasant aroma and delicate taste. Petioles are of medium length, up to 11 cm, without anthocyanin. The mass of one plant is 70-80 g, and the yield of greens reaches 2.6-2.8 kg per square meter. Greens grow back quickly after cutting and retain a fresh appearance for a long time.

The variety is characterized by high frost resistance, heat tolerance, and shade tolerance, making it universal for various climatic conditions. Rhizomes easily survive the winter in the soil, ensuring early harvest of fresh greens in the spring. 'Sibiryachka' parsley contains a large amount of mineral salts, which increases its nutritional value. It is recommended to use greens in fresh, dried, frozen, and canned forms, as well as for decorating and garnishing dishes.

Sowing seeds is carried out in several terms: early spring (end of April – beginning of May), under winter (October-November), and in mid-summer (end of June). Under-winter sowing is done with dry seeds. In spring, seeds are sown in moistened furrows to a depth of no more than 0.5 cm, with a spacing of 3-4 cm in a row and 20-30 cm between rows, after which the seedlings are mulched with peat. To accelerate seed germination, the seedlings are covered with film, which is removed upon the appearance of seedlings. Care for plants includes weed control, two thinning operations, and fertilizers combined with watering.
