CRIMSON CURLY PARSLEY

The "Crimson Curly" parsley variety is a high-yielding and early-maturing leafy culture with dense dark green curly leaves, characterized by strong ruffling and gloss. This variety is valued for its cold hardiness and ability to intensively regrow after cutting, allowing for fresh greens throughout a long period. Parsley leaves are rich in vitamin C and minerals, making them not only an aromatic spice but also a useful addition to the diet. Due to their decorative qualities, the greens are excellent for garnishing dishes and use in cooking, both fresh and dried.

The variety's vegetation period ranges from 70 to 90 days, allowing parsley to be grown both in the garden and on a windowsill. The plant is of medium height, sturdy and stable, preferring fertile loamy and sandy loam soils. The optimal temperature for growth is in the range of +17-18°C, while seeds can germinate already at +5°C, enabling early sowing. Several sowing dates are recommended: early spring, autumn sowing, and mid-summer. For autumn sowing, dry seeds are used, while in spring, seeds are sown in moistened furrows followed by mulching with peat and covering with film to accelerate germination.

Care for parsley includes regular weed control, two thinning of sowings, and fertilizers, which are carried out simultaneously with watering. Additionally, digging up root bundles in autumn and planting them in a pot allows you to supply yourself with fragrant greens throughout the winter. Thus, the "Crimson Curly" variety is a versatile and convenient option for growing aromatic and vitamin-rich greens throughout the year.
