Fodder wheat of the Tashan' variety is high-quality grain primarily intended for livestock and compound feed production. This variety is characterized by high protein content (11-15%), B and E vitamins, lysine, and phosphorus, ensuring nutritional value and usefulness for animal feeding. Grain moisture does not exceed 15%, meeting the quality standards for fodder wheat. Due to these characteristics, wheat Tashan' is a viable alternative to other feed crops, such as corn. The Tashan' variety is characterized by early maturity and medium plant height. It has high yield potential, reaching 80-100 centners per hectare, along with high grain purity and 1000-grain weight. The significant number of grains per ear contributes to high productivity. The wheat is resistant to lodging, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses. Additionally, the variety demonstrates excellent winter hardiness and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Wheat Tashan' exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including powdery mildew, rust, and ear fusarium, as well as moderate resistance to septoria and yellow spot. This enhances yield stability and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. For sowing, different seeding rates are recommended depending on timing: early sowing (September 10-15) requires 3.0-3.2 million seeds per hectare, optimal (September 20-30) — 3.5-4.5 million, late (October 15-25) — 4.5-4.7 million seeds per hectare. This approach ensures maximum productivity and grain quality.
