Wheat PS SEVASTIANA

Crop stability with PS Sevastiana

Choosing seed material for a farm always comes down to predictability. This is not the type of variety that requires constant monitoring or excessive chemical intervention whenever the weather turns. In the field, the crop behaves consistently, which is crucial during the active ripening stages.

Resistance and Crop Protection

• Full immunity to loose and covered smut;
• High defense threshold against brown and stem rust;
• Resistance to glume blotch (septoria) and powdery mildew.

This significantly simplifies field operations. The variety shows excellent endurance against leaf spot diseases as well.

Yield and Field Performance

Lodging resistance is a standout feature here. Even during heavy winds or prolonged rains, the stem stays upright, ensuring a clean and efficient harvest. For an operator, this means less time spent on troubleshooting and more time focusing on scaling production.
