OBOYANKA is a mid-season variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) developed by scientists of FGBNU «National Grain Center named after P.P. Lukyanenko» together with JSC «Artyel». The variety is intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, and Western Siberia. It is characterized by high adaptability to climatic conditions, resistance to lodging, drought, diseases, and pests, ensuring stable and high yields. The average yield in the Western Siberia region is 23.3 c/ha, and the maximum yield is 55.6 c/ha, recorded in the Altai Krai in 2016.
The OBOYANKA variety is characterized by rapid green mass accumulation and good grain volume. It is able to successfully germinate and harden for wintering even in harsh conditions, easily withstands late frosts, and is not affected by spring icing. Due to its low-maintenance care and high germination rate, seeds of this variety are suitable for sowing in various agro-climatic zones, making it a universal choice for farmers.
The products of JSC «Artyel» meet high quality standards: germination and seed treatment are strictly controlled, ensuring reliability and effective sowing. The use of regional varieties, such as OBOYANKA, allows achieving maximum yield and increasing the efficiency of agricultural production, which is especially important for food security and the development of the agricultural sector.
