Breeding Excellence from IPRG

The "Zvenyhora" wheat variety is a product of the long-term scientific efforts of the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. This soft winter wheat variety has firmly established its place in the portfolios of agricultural producers who prioritize yield stability even under moderate management levels. The variety is characterized by high adaptability to the soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine, making it a reliable tool for farmers who value predictable agronomic outcomes.

Field Performance and Market Reputation

"Zvenyhora" is recognized for its refined balance between productivity and environmental stress resistance. The primary objective of its originators was to develop a crop with high genetic plasticity. In practice, this ensures the plant's ability to efficiently utilize autumn-winter moisture and demonstrate resilience against rapid temperature fluctuations during the spring season.

• Crop type: Winter soft wheat.
• Morphology: Adapted for both intensive and standard cultivation technologies.
• Origin: Ukrainian breeding, ensuring regional suitability and robustness.

This variety is frequently selected to ensure the food security of agricultural enterprises. "Zvenyhora" performs consistently across various regions, demonstrating resistance to lodging and the high yield potential typical of IPRG developments, provided that fertilization and crop protection protocols are followed. For professional agronomists, this variety remains a reliable choice that helps mitigate the risks of crop loss in the face of the unstable climatic conditions of the current agricultural season.
