Milasha winter wheat is a medium-maturity soft wheat variety, distinguished by a short-stem form with plant heights up to 100 cm and average resistance to lodging. This variety is harvested 2-3 days later compared to the Pamiat variety, allowing it to better adapt to growing conditions. Milasha was transferred to state variety testing in 2022 and is under temporary protection by the State Commission of the Russian Federation.
The Milasha variety is characterized by high yield, reaching approximately 110 centners per hectare, making it attractive for agricultural production. It possesses valuable milling and baking qualities, thanks to which it is widely used in the production of bread, cereals, and other food products. Additionally, the variety demonstrates good winter hardiness and adaptation to various climatic conditions, ensuring crop stability.
Recommended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, and Lower Volga regions of Russia, the Milasha variety combines high productivity and grain quality. Its use contributes to obtaining high-quality flour, which is especially important for the baking industry and food production.
